When I went to my home at Kijiji cha Ujamaa, Lwami, Mwanga last Month, I was puzzled to find the place and the neighbouring villages, the Lengurumo and Ibweijewa who are mainly life stock keepers is totally dry and the LAMBO which was built at a cost of more than 38m is completely flat and has never been useful to life stocks since it was put into the books of Mwanga district Council. From there, then I remembered you, the incumbent member of Parliament Prof. Jumanne A. Maghembe when we met shortly outside Std Ctd Bank Arusha branch but had no space of time to air out the anomalies happening in Mwanga. But to put history clear is that our grandfathers leader late mzee Zuberi Shedehwa Mfinanga when parsuaded by J.K.Nyerere government to establish an ujamaa village in 1967,himself and the rest of his age mates were induced by the promise by J.K.Nyerere government that they will be supplied with steady supply of water for their catles and for themselves and proper infrustructure for feeding,cleaning and supply of stead water supply from Chang'ombe village area will be done by the government. immediately they accept the deal; The promise was accomplished and made them relinguish from their original homesteads of Kirisi village. Later on because of either flimmsy visions and planning the water supply source which was specifically for life stock keepers was diversified to feed the newly formed district headquorters in Mwanga and from there volume of life stocks in the area was naturally treemed down by dearth like what happened in Ngorongoro district last year. Now should we file our complain in a court of law or to the people through rallies? If your answer is no,you should take approppriate measure in restoring water supply to the life stock keepers people by either digging water bore hales or tape water from CHEGHO where there is a lot of water and run durable pipes to Chang'ombe intake to boost water supply to the beneficiaries; Take note that the mushrooming buildings at Magereza area are all depending supply of water from that old source something which in the short period of time Mwanga district hdqtrs will also be left dry. Maghembe you should do something on this anomalies to avaid peoples power which may turn up into saying enough is enough for what has not been done by this government for proper utility of taxpayers money in getting us water for our lives; we should take sterm measures to the leaders.
